『神香』について
古来より日本の神社神道では、神様がお住まいになる神殿をお造りするとき、樹齢300年を超える檜を使用し造営しています。
この樹齢木によって造られる神殿は、千年を過ぎたのちも神々しく保ち存在し続けています。
その造作において、宮大工は檜材を丹念に鉋がけして削り、丸柱と板材を寸分狂わぬ技術を持って組合せ神殿が出来上がります。
神様は檜のかぐわしい香りに包まれ、清々しい状態に保たれた神殿に座され、信者参詣者を守護し導いて頂けていて、その清々しい檜の香りには
「浄化作用」と「祓の力」があると伝えられています。
この『神香』は、宮大工の手により精巧に作られた唐櫃に、樹齢数百年を過ぎた木曾檜を鉋がけして削られた檜布を納め、檜板に古神道呪文を標した祓符を納めて特別祈祷を修してあります。
これにより、唐櫃の蓋を開けることによって空間の浄化、外より入りくる悪しき禍事、凶事、災難を祓い清めて寄せ付けない御神威をいただくことができ、御守りいただけます。
この特別に御祈祷した『神香』を、ご自宅やお仕事先などに御奉斎いただき、神様の高く尊いご加護に包まれて日々をお送りください。

Sacred Incense “Kaminokou” – A Specially Consecrated Offering
Since ancient times, Japanese Shinto shrines have been built using cypress trees that are over 300 years old. These sacred trees form the foundation of shrines that continue to radiate divine energy for over a thousand years.
Master shrine carpenters, known as Miyadaiku, meticulously plane and craft the cypress wood, ensuring that the round pillars and planks fit together with unparalleled precision. The gods are enshrined within these sacred spaces, surrounded by the natural, refreshing fragrance of cypress. This aroma is believed to have powerful purification and protective properties, dispelling negativity and fostering a space of peace and clarity.
Kaminokou is a sacred offering meticulously crafted by Miyadaiku artisans. It consists of finely planed cypress shavings from ancient Kiso cypress trees, carefully enclosed in a handcrafted karabitsu (traditional wooden chest). Additionally, a wooden talisman, inscribed with an ancient Shinto incantation, is included. This set undergoes a special purification ritual at the shrine.
By simply opening the karabitsu, the sacred power of the gods is released, cleansing the surrounding space of negative energy, misfortune, and calamities, while offering divine protection.
